The Northwest Iowa School of Taxidermy is located in Spirit Lake, Iowa, in the northwest corner of the state.
The Iowa Great Lakes area is one of the Midwest’s most popular recreational and resort areas. The lakes boast of excellent fishing and beautiful sightseeing throughout the year. There is boating and skiing in the summer and cross-country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter. Our beautiful chain of lakes in northwestern Iowa extends from the Minnesota line southwest several miles and covers about fifteen thousand acres. When you attend our taxidermy school, you get the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful area and take advantage of fantastic outdoor recreation.

Housing
Housing for the nine-week session is made available for students needing it at the student’s expense. Costs vary depending upon the unit. All units are fully furnished, include utilities and are located within easy access to shopping needs.
